Ms Yassmin Foster

Yassmin’s career in movement and dance spans over 20 years of extensive work with people of mixed ability, belief, heritage and background. Originally a Street Dancer, Yassmin has trained and qualified in Contemporary and Jazz dance, she is an all round Fitness Instructor and holds a BA Hon’s in Anthropology and Media. Her interests lay in kinetic teaching and learning, movement mechanics and fostering dance technique whilst furthering her knowledge in dance of the African Diaspora. This allowing her to work within a broad range of contexts to create work that is academic, culturally aesthetic and technically artistic. Yassmin is committed to improving people's lives through exercise that challenges the body.

Her titles have included; Creative Director, Consultant, Producer, Creative Practitioner, Facilitator, Tutor, Artist, Choreographer & Performer
